Irontrax Completes Inspection of Natural Gas Compressors in Utica Shale Play

9/30/18.  Irontrax LLC was recently in West Virginia and Southeastern Ohio inspecting and analyzing a series of natural gas compressors operated by one of the Appalachian Basin’s major gas processors.  The company operates the largest network (700 miles) of gathering pipeline in the Utica Shale, including 531 miles of rich gas lines, 39 miles of lean gas lines, and 151 miles of liquid or condensate lines.  Their current processing capacity is 800 MMcf/d, and they are adding an additional 200 MMcf/d of processing capacity.

Each natural gas compressor package, a mix of residue type and inlet type, consists of a Hyundai Ideal 6,900 HP 5,075 kW electric motor, Arial KBZ Series 2-stage six throw compressor, air cooler assembly, programmable logic controller, and a variable frequency drive.  Some of the compressors were operational in 2015, while others are being installed today.

“Irontrax will continue to expand our offerings in the energy sectors, so crucial to America’s overburdened infrastructure,” according to Irontrax Founder & President Joe Santora.  Joe adds, “And rest assured that we will bring the same level of expertise and professionalism to these projects that our clients have come to expect.”

Don’t let an inexperienced appraiser inspect or appraise your natural gas compressors!  Irontrax personnel have the required safety training and experience to be on the job tomorrow.  Contact an Irontrax representative to learn more about having your natural gas equipment appraised.
